Miel Brewery and Taproom to open May 2018 in the Irish Channel neighborhood at 405 Sixth Street, one block off Tchoupitoulas. An almost two year endeavor by Northshore couple Alex Peyroux and Janice Montoya will finally culminate into a grand opening at their beautiful brewery, taproom, and beer garden. Alex started brewing as a homebrewer and studied brewing at The Siebel Institute. He paid his dues working at great Louisiana breweries like Abita, Urban South, as well as Harpoon Brewery in Boston, MA. Janice is person behind the camera and has the eye for design. She has a background in advertising and videography which proves to be very complimentary traits to Alex's undeniable brewing abilities!
