Evil Twin Brewing — Nasty Trunks: Farmhouse IPA — 5.5% ABV ? IBUs

This beer pours slightly hazy, golden straw with small white foam. Aromas are floral and grassy with lemon-forward citrus and slight barnyard funk. It has a nice acidity with flavors of grapefruit and lemon and a balanced earthy funk.


Wicked Weed Brewing — Marina: Sour Ale — 6.5% ABV 45 IBUs

Cloudy and bright yellow with nice aromas of acidic funk, apricot, peach, and lemon… more so with the apricot than the peach. Dry and light bodied with a prominent tartness with flavors of mixed berries, apricots, and subtle peach as expected, with pleasant funkiness.


Southern Prohibition Brewing — Usurper: American Wild Ale — 6% ABV ? IBUs

Light golden in color with thin white head and aromas of earth, grass, and citrus. Not too dry, with flavors of barnyard, hay, lemon, and orange and a subtle hoppiness.


Wicked Weed Brewing — Ferme de Grand-pere: American Wild Ale — 7% ABV ? IBUs

Pours light mahogany with a slight cloudiness with aromas of wood, dark berries and funk. Medium bodied with taste of fruit and berries along with a nice oakey funk and balanced tartness.


Wicked Weed Brewing — Prevalence: Sour Ale — 7.2% ABV ? IBUs

Reddish-gold in color with a pretty white head. Aromas of acid and funk, lemon, and grassy notes. Light bodied and dry with pleasant tartness and funk. Flavors of lemon and fruit along with juniper.


Brouwerij West — Saison Extra: Saison/Farmhouse Ale — 5.4% ABV ? IBUs

Pours golden with a slight haze, with aromas of malt, subtle earth funk, spicy phenols, and sweet caramel. Medium bodied considering the style with flavors of sweet malt, raisin, pepper, and a nice barnyard funkiness.


BrainDead Brewing — Bent De Garde: Biere de Garde — 8.7% ABV ? IBUs

Slightly cloudy and reddish brown in color with aromas of red wine and oak. Flavors of spice, oak, and ripe fruit.


Saint Arnold Brewing Company — Cut With Bread Pudding: Old Ale — 7.5% ABV 24 IBUs

Pours clear reddish brown with thin white head. Aromas of sweet malt, caramel sauce, toffee, and subtle vanilla. Medium bodied with taste of Heath bars, caramel, cinnamon sugar, and vanilla.


Stillwater Artisanal/Casita Cerveceria — On Fleek: Imperial Stout — 13% ABV 50 IBUs

Dark, motor oil in color with nice light brown head. Smells boozy, with notes of malt sweetness, chocolate, and coffee. Taste like it smells with an emphasis on bittersweet chocolate, roasted coffee, alcohol heat, with a faint earthy hoppiness.


Evil Twin/Jackie O’s Pub and Brewery — You’re in the Jungle Baby: Imperial Stout — 12% ABV 65 IBUs

Pours black with a nice khaki head. Aromas are malt forward with roasty, chocolatey, coffee notes with spicy/citrusy finish and a strong alcohol presence. Taste of dark malt and honey, with a noticeable spiciness and subdued bitter orange peel finish.


Terrapin Beer Co. — Raspberry Truffle W-n-B: Imperial Stout — 9.4% ABV 30 IBUs

Jet black with medium-sized tan head. Aromas of sweet malt, chocolate, coffee, and slightly medicinal raspberry. Sweet stout with medium to high body with flavors of mixed berries, chocolate, coffee, caramel, and vanilla.


Clown Shoes — Breakfast Beast: Imperial Stout — 10.5% ABV ? IBUs

Black, but not motor oil with heavy aromas of bourbon booze, roast malt, dark chocolate, espresso and booze. Taste of dark chocolate, coffee, ripe berries, vanilla, and bourbon-y goodness!
