Drank some more great beers at this weeks #BeerChurch! Check them out below!
This beer pours slightly hazy, golden straw with small white foam. Aromas are floral and grassy with lemon-forward citrus and slight barnyard funk. It has a nice acidity with flavors of grapefruit and lemon and a balanced earthy funk.
Cloudy and bright yellow with nice aromas of acidic funk, apricot, peach, and lemon… more so with the apricot than the peach. Dry and light bodied with a prominent tartness with flavors of mixed berries, apricots, and subtle peach as expected, with pleasant funkiness.
Light golden in color with thin white head and aromas of earth, grass, and citrus. Not too dry, with flavors of barnyard, hay, lemon, and orange and a subtle hoppiness.
Pours light mahogany with a slight cloudiness with aromas of wood, dark berries and funk. Medium bodied with taste of fruit and berries along with a nice oakey funk and balanced tartness.
Reddish-gold in color with a pretty white head. Aromas of acid and funk, lemon, and grassy notes. Light bodied and dry with pleasant tartness and funk. Flavors of lemon and fruit along with juniper.
Pours golden with a slight haze, with aromas of malt, subtle earth funk, spicy phenols, and sweet caramel. Medium bodied considering the style with flavors of sweet malt, raisin, pepper, and a nice barnyard funkiness.
Slightly cloudy and reddish brown in color with aromas of red wine and oak. Flavors of spice, oak, and ripe fruit.
Pours clear reddish brown with thin white head. Aromas of sweet malt, caramel sauce, toffee, and subtle vanilla. Medium bodied with taste of Heath bars, caramel, cinnamon sugar, and vanilla.
Dark, motor oil in color with nice light brown head. Smells boozy, with notes of malt sweetness, chocolate, and coffee. Taste like it smells with an emphasis on bittersweet chocolate, roasted coffee, alcohol heat, with a faint earthy hoppiness.
Pours black with a nice khaki head. Aromas are malt forward with roasty, chocolatey, coffee notes with spicy/citrusy finish and a strong alcohol presence. Taste of dark malt and honey, with a noticeable spiciness and subdued bitter orange peel finish.
Jet black with medium-sized tan head. Aromas of sweet malt, chocolate, coffee, and slightly medicinal raspberry. Sweet stout with medium to high body with flavors of mixed berries, chocolate, coffee, caramel, and vanilla.
Black, but not motor oil with heavy aromas of bourbon booze, roast malt, dark chocolate, espresso and booze. Taste of dark chocolate, coffee, ripe berries, vanilla, and bourbon-y goodness!
