Pours and interesting absinthe-colored green with the aroma of a Pizza Hut salad bar. Nice spicy notes from the saison yeast.
Parish Brewing Co. — Ghost in the Machine: Double IPA — 8.5% ABV 100 IBU
Pours like orange juice from concentrate. Intense tropical fruit aroma balances out the malt bill
To øl — Sur Blomst: Sour Mashed Pale Ale w/ Elderflowers — 6.3% ABV ??? IBU
Nice and subtly tart sour pale ale.
Brasserie Fantôme — Chocolat: Saison brewed w/ Cocoa and Chili Pepper — 8% ABV ??? IBU
Nice Pilsner malt flavor with compliments from the cocoa ending with a nice spicy finish from the yeast. Chili pepper goes unnoticed.
Stone/Brewdog — Super Bashah: Belgian-Style Double Black IPA — 10% ABV ??? IBU
Pours like a Barq’s root beer w/ a quickly dissipating head. Sweet, and chocolaty with slight roastiness and a pleasant hop balance.
Dugges Bryggeri — idjit! 2013: Imperial Stout — 9.5% ABV ??? IBU
2013 Vintage! Slight oxidation. Sweet, chocolaty, and mellowed due to age
Evil Twin Brewing — Aun Mas Cafe Jesus: American Imperial Coffee Stout — 12% ABV ??? IBU
Thick stout with roasted malts in the forefront finishing with prominent chocolate and coffee notes.
Firestone Walker Brewing Co. — Stickee Monkee (2017): Barrel-Aged Belgian-Style Quad — 12.5% ABV 30 IBU
Definitely “stickee”… Very sweet, malty, and boozy. Drinks thick with delicious caramel and toffee notes.
