The ever-growing New Orleans craft beer community just got a tasty surprise Wednesday when DogFish Head, a prize-winning Delaware brewery, announced on their website that they would be finally distributing to Louisiana in a post titled “Here we come Louisiana”. According to their post, “Dogfish fans in The Pelican State can expect to enjoy a full line-up of iconic, fan-favorite brews, including 90 Minute IPA, Namaste White, Indian Brown, 60 Minute IPA, SeaQuench Ale, Lupu-Luau IPA, Flesh & Blood IPA, Palo Santo Marron, Burton Baton, Midas Touch, and seasonal releases. Limited quantities of specialty beers and occasional rarities will also be available throughout the year.” Our sources at their distributors said that they received their first truckload of DFH suds today, with a week full of release parties coming up next week!
We are excited to get our hands on a Midas Touch (Dogfish Head’s acclaimed ancient ale that is more beer/mead hybrid), at least one where we don’t have to bootleg from out of state sources.
Where can you catch these new beers and Dogfish rep’s? We got you covered:
Monday, January 8, 2018 starting at 7:00 P.M. the famous Avenue Pub (1732 St. Charles Ave) will have “every draft they are sending to the market!”. Additionally, the folks from Dogfish Head will be on hand to answer questions and meet the New Orleans craft beer community so get there early.
